My first mobile blog entry.

Good enough phone, unprivileged user account, lots of enthusiasm, let’s see what we can do.

Thanks developers. I feel spoiled.

I had to go move some hay but forgot my camera (phone). I rode past 200 ‘wild’ (rodeo stock) horses. If it weren’t so chilly I could have stayed another hour watching, inspecting, jokingly naming some and just enjoying the scene. They would come to the fence, but quickly flee if I approached.

Cheers.

Don’t buy a ticket, you’ve already won.

Another random, probably faulty, Kim thought:

So, I had this thought last week…

The chances of winning the lottery are something like 1 in 250 million. …but the chances of being a unique individual are 1 in 7 billion.

Forget buying a lottery ticket ~ You’ve already won the greatest ticket in the world.. a one in 7 billion chance to be you.

Shorts Day 2013 ~ The Day the Lilac Bloomed

I’m calling yesterday my Shorts Day 2013, even though I was too busy working with dangerous chemicals to wear shorts. Temps reached above 75 briefly despite a rainy start to the third rainy day this week. Yesterday was Friday, May 10th, 2013.

The day the Lilac bloomed, I started a job in Greenwich. May 8th

Steve Miller

When I was 10 or 11 years old, my best friend was swiped away by his parents when they moved to Texas. At that time, we spent all our time together.

It’s been 35 years since I heard from him…
Never out of my mind, but certainly lost to the world, until today. All these years later, thanks to this ‘personal’ website of mine and a random contact.

What did the letter he sent me this morning say? Where are the pictures of me towing friends on a toboggan, behind my ATC. Well, Steve.. I’ll have to dig deeper for a picture of the toboggan, but here’s my get-up in 4th or 5th grade. I was 10.

Easter Weekend 2012

Our annual visit to Colebrook on Easter Weekend is never less than amazing, thanks to my incredible Aunt. When the Easter bunny shows up and the kids gather round it brings meaning to tradition and value to family gathering. I am so lucky to have been born of these beautiful folks.

I always have a favorite photo I’m willing to share. I do like this one of Debra messing with her steer:

School’s going great and…

I’ve started Volunteer work while I am still disabled. It’s been great and not at all difficult or uncomfortable. For some reason I am able to get under the skin of the difficult and depressed… but I stay well away from the bitchy.

Tomorrow I find out my scores on the mid-term and hopefully will pass my skills evaluation.

PS: I get a shot in the neck on the 29th. Keep your fingers crossed they don’t pith me. (see pithing)

Update: 3/27 – I know it’s the 27th because FedEx is supposed to deliver a package that has been sitting in Stamford for 48 hours and will take them two more days to deliver. I’m really glad Tom Hanks lost Wilson. Serves him right for getting paid to promote such a crock.

I got a 94 on my mid-term, serves me right for not thoroughly reading the chapter on “Senses”.

The shot in the neck is called a Cervical Transforaminal Injection. …day after tomorrow.
